Dalmatia - Sibenik - Tradition and culture
Throughout the centuries, olive growing and viticulture had a leading role in the entire area of Sibenik (Šibenik), as well as in Vodice and on the island of Murter. Primosten (Primošten), on the other hand, from the past till today possessed the most picturesque and the richest vineyards in the entire region, that speak about men's diligence and the struggle in miserly area. In Dalmatinska Zagora people were engaged in agriculture, cattle breeding and small crafts. Town of Knin, which is a part of Zagora, was the most powerful city-fortress in Dalmatia. It was one of Croatian kings residences because of excellent view on the entire Liburnia and Dalmatia.
